Last week, I wrote about yearbooks and youth culture during the Vietnam War. Yesterday, I found this great footage from 1969 that covers a “current events” discussion in a high school history class. It was so fascinating to see the passion with which teenagers spoke about the Vietnam War, and I encourage you to give it a watch!
What do you think about the students’ opinions? If you were a teenager during this period, how did/would you and your peers feel about the war?
(New post coming next week — sorry for the delay!)
